Well Fran you have gone over to the dark side.... you want to be a man... that narrow life form that glories in the subjugation of women and animals... they develop our world out of existence all in the name of money... we have a diminishing green space as the urban sprawl leaks its way into our lives and destroys all the habitat for the wildlife... so you wanting to be a man to play is a betrayal of the feminine. We try to nuture... hang on a minute I have to go and turn off some lights to limit the carbon footprint on our planet... ah!!! my green credentials are almost as bad as a man's... so perhaps we, that is both genders, need to play at saving the world.
I am asking your opinion on the green question. What are your thoughts as a woman?
Virginia Woolf thought a woman needed a "room of her own" and income to express independence of mind and intellect.
This blog is a computer screen and the whole world!
I am a feminist. I work, read and study. I love my partner [male], my family and friends.
It sickens me and chills my soul to see women portrayed as objects and "fillers" on television, movies and advertising.
Women are still not earning equal pay, nor being promoted at the same rate as men. Yet, in a climate of rampant individualism, personal and political rarely meet as everyone is caught in the rip-tide called 'survival'.
